2019 Go Red For Women Experience held in Lexington

The 2019 Go Red for Women Experience happened in Lexington on Friday, November 8 in the Lexington Convention Center’s Heritage Hall.

Fifteen years ago, Go Red for Women was created by the American Heart Association as a campaign to end heart disease and stroke in women. Since then, tens of thousands of women have come together every year at one of the many Go Red for Women luncheons in communities across the country.

This year’s event was hosted by American Heart Association Lexington, CHI Saint Joseph Health, and Passport Health Plan, and featured a discovery village along with the luncheon. Kentucky State University alumna Dr. Karen M. R. Townsend was the keynote speaker for this year’s luncheon.
