Clays Mill is still in the process of their widening project and Columbia Gas is required to relocate it’s existing pipelines. These relocations are taking place between Waco Road and Stratford Dr. This construction is considered phase one of the relocation project.
The construction is expected to start on Monday, February 18 starting at Waco Road.
With the type of equipment needed for this work it might result in temporary traffic restrictions or delays. Construction crews will be on site from 7:30 am until 6:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Costumers may experience brief service interruptions and possible meter relocations with the start of the pipeline project.
Even though construction is a short-term nuisance, there will be long-term benefits. Customers can expect enhanced safety, reliability, and less future maintenance with the new pipes.
