The Lexington Public Library has events throughout the year at all of their branches. What events are happening at the Beaumont Branch in March? What are the ages for these events?

Below is a sampling of events the Library in Beaumont Center is putting on throughout the month of March.

  • March 2: The Gifts of i heart my library in chalk on the pavementHenry Faulkner: A Life in Art; 2 pm until 4 pm, recommended for adults.
  • March 5: Beaumont Book Discussion Group: Eleanor Oliphant; 11 am until noon, recommended for adults
  • March 5: K-5 Play and Create: Dough-verload; 4 pm until 5 pm, recommended for K-5th.
  • March 6: Preschoolers Explore…Weather; 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm, recommended for ages 3-5.
  • March 9: Second Saturday Gaming; 10 am until 4 pm, recommended for adults, families, high school, middle school and K-5th grade.
  • March 12: What’s Next? Open House; 11 am until 1 pm and also 4 pm until 6 pm, recommended for adults and families.
  • March 13: Workin’ on Mysteries Without Many Clues: Famous Lexington Cold Cases; 6:30 pm until 8 pm, recommended for adults.
  • March 14: Preschool Teddy Bear Picnic; 1:30 pm until 3 pm, recommended for ages 3-5.
  • March 16: Saturday Morning Cartoon Party; 10 am until noon, recommended for families.
  • March 17: Family St. Patrick’s Day Party; 2 pm until 4 pm, recommended for families, preschool (3-5 years) and K-5th grade.
  • March 19: Beaumont Book Discussion Group: Lincoln in the Bardo; 11 am until noon, recommended for adults.
  • March 22: Teen Night Breakout Games; 5:45 pm until 8 pm, recommended for high school and middle school (registration is required).
  • March 24: K-5 Lego Fun and Games; 3:30 pm until 4:30 pm, recommended for K-5th.
  • March 26: Intermediate Spanish; 1 pm until 2:30 pm, recommended for adults (registration is required).
  • March 26: Classic Films: Singin’ in the Rain; 2 pm until 4 pm, recommended for seniors and adults.
  • March 26: K-5 Extreme Explorers: Moon Madness; 4 pm until 5 pm, recommended for K-5th.
  • March 27: Local Legend Belle Brezing; 6:30 pm until 8 pm, recommended for adults.
  •  March 30: Marvel Trivia; 2 pm until 4 pm, recommended for adults, high school, and middle school.
