The Lantern at Morning Pointe hosts a series of classes for their Lighting the Way Classroom Series.

Lantern at Morning Pointe: Senior Couple Sitting On Outdoor Seat Together LaughingOn Thursday, November 7 at noon the class focuses on Mental Health with Amedisys. Dementia and mental health co-diagnoses and understanding the importance of geriatric psychiatry as a part of your care plan.

On Thursday, November 21 at noon the class focuses on Hearing Loss with Audiology Associates. Newest theories and research on hearing loss and its effects on dementia and ways to help protect yourself and your loved ones.

On Thursday, December 5 at noon the class focuses on Happy Holidays with The Weston Group. How to manage expectations during family gatherings with loved ones with dementia and making your time with your loved ones merry and bright.

Must RSVP at lexington-lan-crd@morningpointe.com to save your reservation. Each class is limited to seven participants. Lunch is provided.
